There are a combine of ways to go about removal, by hand or automatic, now although by hand extraction works great for removing most viruses, it's not so effective at getting rid of Vundo Trojans. The guess is that these viruses include a huge estimate of files, some of which are hidden and other which replicate themselves. Therefore even if you do somehow carry on to delete all the files, some of them will naturally re-generate, causing the whole virus to reappear upon re-boot.
I have outlined the policy below, but as I mentioned nothing is guaranteed and you run the risk of destroying your entire Pc.
1.Removing all Spyware protect associated processes (any malicious Exe files)
